I was very pleased to be selected to participate in an attractive new group show this spring in Montreal.  Vert is taking place at the Centre d’Art E.K. Voland, 4710 St-Ambroise St.  The Centre is in the Complexe Du Canal Lachine, one of the city’s many remarkable old factories converted into spaces for artists.

Along with the diversity of works in the Vert show, on Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 3-8 pm, the entire complex is an open house.  Members of the public can visit a number of galleries exhibiting the work artists working in a number of different media.

Uat-Ur [the Great Green], is an ancient Egyptian name for the Mediterranean Sea at the mouth of the Nile. It was the inspiration for the painting I submitted which is one panel of a diptych.
